DAY 3 - SANLI URFA - GÖREME

Departure from Sanlı Urfa to Adana-Birecik which is the famous with its bald-ibis ( Kel aynak ) birds.This birds are living only in Bilecik in the world.There is not much left of them.There is a Breeding farm of Bald İbis birds.having a lunch,drive up to the Taurus Mountain after Adana.Tea break than drive back to Göreme.

伊甸園遺址疑在土耳其
掘出萬二年柱群位置符合《聖經》

【本報訊】土耳其的哥貝克力山丘遺址聳立雕滿動物圖案的石柱，經鑑定，遺址最少擁有一萬二千年歷史，被喻為世上最重要的考古遺，更有考古學家認為那是伊甸園遺址。T形石柱雕滿動物圖案
德國考古學會的考古學家施密特一九九四年開始，在土耳其東南部烏爾法(URFA)市郊十五公里外的哥貝克力山丘遺址挖掘，發現大批雕滿動物圖案的T形石柱。經鑑定，估計石柱群最少有一萬二千年歷史，比英國巨石陣及埃及吉薩金字塔更早建成，是最古老的同類遺。施密特更相信那就是伊甸園的神殿。
施密特提出他的理論：那時很多狩獵者集合起來建設哥貝克力山丘石柱群，完成後一起崇拜，但他們不能以固定的狩獵及聚會養活那麼多人，於是開始在山上種植野草，但發展農業改變了地形及天氣，狩獵者被迫離開伊甸園。《聖經》指伊甸園在亞述的西面，哥貝克力山丘也在同一地方。

The Atatürk Dam (Turkish: Atatürk Barajı), originally the Karababa Dam, is a zoned rock-fill dam with a central core^[1] on the Euphrates River on the border of Adıyaman Province and Şanlıurfa Province inSoutheastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. Built both to generate electricity and to irrigate the plains in the region, it is later renamed after Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (1881-1938), the founder of the Turkish Republic, to honor him with its very large scale. The construction began in 1983 and was completed in 1990. The dam and the hydroelectric power plant (HEPP), which went into service after the upfilling of reservoir was accomplished in 1992, are operated by the State Hydraulic Works (DSİ). The reservoir created behind the dam, called Lake Atatürk Dam (Turkish: Atatürk Baraj Gölü), is the third largest in Turkey.
