As the tour starts we drive along the coast of Eyjafjordur fjord, across the mountain pass Vikurskard to the valley of Fnjoskadalur. The first stop is at Godafoss waterfall, not only famous for its breathtaking beauty but also for its significant historic value related to the Christianisation of Iceland.  From Godafoss the tour continues through the valley of Reykjadalur to Skutustadir in the Lake Myvatn district. There we explore the regular shaped pseudo craters formed in a volcanic eruption approximately 2300 years ago. We drive along the south coast of the lake to Dimmuborgir, a lava labyrinth formed around 2300 years ago when a partly cooled lava lake drained out and left magnificent basaltic pillars and sculptures. Next we drive along the south coast of the lake to the small village of Reykjahlid, where passengers board a scheduled bus Nr. 650a to Husavik. The bus stops at the facilities of North Sailing in the harbour area where you have easy access to the whale watching boats. The boat tour takes about 3 hours and for the last couple of years there have been over 90% whale sightings. At first the Minke Whale was the most common but in recent years other species have frequently been sighted in the bay as well. Among those is the Humpback Whale, which always gets a lot of attention, mainly because it often raises its flippers to slap the surface and most often raises its fluke before diving.The Skjalfandi Bay is not only a popular destination because of the whales; birds and natural beauty play a significant role in making whale watching in the bay a memorable experience.  There are two islands in the Bay, Lundey and Flatey, where many species of birds nest, e.g. Puffins and Arctic Terns. In Husavik passengers can opt to visit the Whale Museum, displaying full-size whale skeletons.At 17:00 passengers take bus 641 from the harbour back to Akureyri in connection with flights to Reykjavik. Arrival at Akureyri Airport around 18:10.

今天我們由Akureyri到Myvtan玩，我們參加了sba 巴士公司的tour，全架巴士有五人，非常超值。我們到了米湖遊覽，沿途導遊介紹冰島的環境，SBA導遊說有中國人打算在米湖一起建立一個中藥園，因為這裡天氣較乾爽，可以一起發展。

去到米湖導遊帶我們去看假火山 (Pseudo crater)，這些假火山較完整。藍天映照在湖水中，眼前的圖像很優美。之後，我們去了 Dimmuborgir,想起Trolls的故事，原來這些是火山lava冷卻形成石頭。當中巨大的石頭好像傳說中住在山中的巨人，他們一下山就會來做一些令人煩厭的行為，好像在聖誕大餐破壞之類，所以小朋友都很害怕他們。在Dimmuborgir這個地區有一個很高的圓孔，它是火山熔岩流過時的通道。

米湖

我們看完這地區後，吃過午餐，我們就去Husavik. 希望見到鯨魚游泳的美態。我們要穿上一件厚全身衣保暖，因為北海很冷，所以大家都有著上這件衣服，今次的船期有大批中國團友來參加，他們都很有禮貌，應該是有錢又有文化的人吧。船出海很久也沒有很大收獲，所以船不斷在港灣徘徊。這裡能吸引魚和鯨魚，是因為這裡是兩條河的河出口，河流帶著營養輸送入海，所以牠們會在這些位置出沒。生態和生物圈之間互相緊扣，這是非常重要的。

在香港的中華白海豚也有類似的習慣，牠們的棲息地在香港的珠江口和機場海域一帶，這個就是他們選擇此區的主因，沒有其他地區，聰明的海豚享盡捕食河鮮和海鮮的機會呢。

雖然最終都在海上見到鯨魚，但他們都是小鯨魚，沒有跳起再360度轉身再入海，下次再見吧! 可能我去得太多海洋公園，所以我會有這種想法。不過，這些鯨魚比海洋公園的陸地公園棲息地自由一百萬倍，他們不讓我見，我覺得這是正常的，海洋公園訓練的表演才有點怪異，自由自在是何等重要，但這裡自由身的鯨魚也有被捕殺的可能性，這個就是生物圈。

Akureyri

返到Akureyri，我們要上山才去到超市入貨，因為已吃完了所有的食物，這裏的食物很貴是因為以入口為主，冰島的土地在地球上算是很年輕，火山又常常噴灰流熔岩，天氣冷物理和化學風化得很慢，所以泥土只能以很長的時間來發展成很薄一層，大多PIONEER都是在LAVA上的MOSSES，但太薄的泥土不合耕種，樹木更難以生長，只能生草或CUSHION PLANTS。因此糧食都是由周邊國家運過來的，有少部分是由GEOTHERMAL POWER 的GREENHOUSE 種出來的，價錢會比較實惠。
